In Fall 2014, the Arts and Administration Program (AAD) at the University of Oregon (UO) celebrated its 20th Anniversary. Today, AAD is a robust and growing program dedicated to its mission to educate cultural sector leaders and participants to make a difference in communities.
In celebration of the 20th Anniversary milestone, the AAD Living History Project was created to create a 360-degree portrait of the program through the eyes of its students, alumni, faculty, and community partners. We wanted to know from students and alumni, how the program has helped them "make good"—in their careers and in their communities; from faculty, how the program maintains its competitive edge in an increasingly crowded market; and from community partners we wanted to know, what have AAD students and alumni brought to their organizations to help them fulfill thier own missions to "make good."
This is just the beginning of we hope is an ongoing narrative between students, alumni, faculty and community partners.
