Dear Program Participants and Supporters;

After more than ten years of helping people make a difference in their community festivals and special events, the difficult decision has
been made to not continue the Meeting/Festival & Event Management Certificate program due to the extreme difficult economic times (both internal to UO and in our state for support of professional development). The June 12, 2009, workshop at UO Portland will be the last session offered and will thus serve as a conclusion to the program. Some content associated with this program will be infused into the Sustainability Leadership Certificate Program during the 2009-2010 program year, and work completed in Sustainability Leadership can contribute towards a MEM/F&E Certificate.

As Spring Term wraps up, we will attempt to connect with many past MEM and F&E registrants to arrange individualized plans that meet your professional and educational needs.
