Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management
The UO Department of Planning, Public Policy and Management (PPPM) offers a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management that may easily be combined with graduate studies in arts administration. The 24-credit Certificate requires completion of 14 credit hours of required courses in PPPM, comprised of coursework in nonprofit management, financial management, fundraising, and grantwriting. The remaining 10 required credits may be applied to the Certificate from coursework required for the master's degree in arts management. The student's summer internship must take place in a nonprofit organization. After a student is admitted to the Arts and Administration Program, a streamlined application process exists to enroll in this Certificate option. To learn more about combining a master's degree in arts administration with a certificate in nonprofit management, please refer to the PPPM Certificate website (http://pppm.uoregon.edu/grad/nonprofit)
